Voices Around The World 2017 Project: "Sunshine"

Los alumnos de Educación Primaria del colegio han vuelto a colaborar este año con la organización Voices Around The World.

El proyecto de este año tiene como objetivo recaudar fondos para un centro educativo en la localidad de Njombe en Tanzania.

Como ya sabréis, el proyecto consiste en hacer una grabación de las voces de los alumnos interpretando una canción (este año la canción se titula "Sunshine") que será enviada a VATW. Allí se encargan de mezclarla con otras grabaciones realizadas por  alumnos de muchos países.

El resultado será un video con la mezcla de audio final, e imágenes de los participantes. Para verlo habrá que descargarlo de la página de VATW pagando una pequeña cantidad. Podéis haceros una idea viendo el video de la canción del año pasado ("Lighting up the flame").  

Entre marzo y abril alumnos voluntarios han estado grabando sus voces (tres melodías distintas) en pequeños grupos. Además en una parte de la canción hemos añadido una secuencia de poliritmia en la que han participado todos los grupos de clase. También hemos añadido pequeñas coreografías inventadas por los alumnos.

Como nos piden imágenes para incluir en el video final, he editado dos videos que reflejan nuestro trabajo: uno con la base musical que nos enviaron, y otra versión en la que a las voces y percusiones de los alumnos he añadido simplemente una guitarra y un ukelele.

Ya he enviado todo el material a VATW y enseguida me han contestado agradeciéndonos el gran trabajo que hemos hecho, y transmitiéndonos sus felicitaciones.

Thank you for the videos.

We really enjoyed the acoustic version - really great work and arrangement - that must have made a very interesting performance for your students to make. Did they perform this version to parents? Lovely photo outside the school too with a ‘Sunshine Flag’ as well - so creative!!
